Wingets held the annual meeting of the Kent Bowls Presidents Council day at the club on 8th August. 48 players from both Wingets and selected players from across Kent representing the President played 6 Rinks games (4 players per side) during the day. The Presidents team won the match overall and the day was a huge success with a Ploughman's Lunch being provided to all participants at the end of play as well as the bar being open to quench everyone's thirst. The weather was very kind to us as it only started to rain just as the final 18th end was being completed on most rinks. Winget proved to be the perfect hosts with the team of ladies working so very hard to ensure that the food was presented and set on the tables exactly as planned. A great day was had by all and group photo's of both teams can be found in the gallery section.
